In this webinar Una from SEAI will show us how sustainable energy can ignite curiosity in your students,
encouraging them to learn and save energy - at school, at home and in their community. Whether you’re
interested in finding out about energy across the various Junior Cycle & TY specifications, what’s involved in
an SEAI student workshop or keen to start action projects in your school, this webinar is for you. Teachers
attending may consider our in-person day at Mount Lucas 21st March for ideas and to meet other teachers.

energy and climate action in their school while linking in with the various curricula at Primary and Post-
Primary. After the workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to tour the Centre and the Wind Farm
followed by a light lunch.

In this webinar, the ISSN & the ISTA will look at effective approaches in teaching ecology, practical
suggestions on how to run a habitat study and ways to bring nature into the classroom. The hosts will show
participants how the Bitesize Biodiversity resources can help, while also examining up to date examples of
the threats and successes of ecosystem conservation. Open to any teachers with an interest in ecology but
particularly useful for science & biology teachers.
