today this webinar is for you. Dr. Anne Dolan is hosting this webinar based on her recently published book:
“Teaching the Sustainable Development Goals in the Classroom (10-16 years) A Focus on Teaching Hope,
Respect, Empathy and Advocacy in Schools”. This workshop will provide ideas and resources for primary
and post-primary teachers.

Join us for an in-person event to see Sustainable Energy come alive! Teachers will be guided in how to take
energy and climate action in their school while linking in with the various curricula at Primary and Post-
Primary. After the workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to tour the Centre and the Wind Farm
followed by a light lunch.

In this webinar, the ISSN & the ISTA will look at effective approaches in teaching ecology, practical
suggestions on how to run a habitat study and ways to bring nature into the classroom. The hosts will show
participants how the Bitesize Biodiversity resources can help, while also examining up to date examples of
the threats and successes of ecosystem conservation. Open to any teachers with an interest in ecology but
particularly useful for science & biology teachers.

Common Knowledge is a social enterprise based in the Burren that teaches hands-on skills for sustainable
living. In this session they will share their approach to skill-based learning, community impact and social
enterprise. This webinar will be an inspiration for a range of teachers to reflect on this approach and the
wide-reaching benefits of hands-on and skill-based learning.
