8th Annual Research Conference 2019
LOUISE MADIGAN BURSARY FUND
As you may be aware, Waterford Teachers' Centre and indeed the whole south eastern educational community suffered a tragic loss last December with the sudden passing of Louise Madigan, WTC Centre administrator. Louise was the exceptionally efficient coordinator of the Annual South Eastern Educational Research Conference, held every October on a rotational basis in Kilkenny, Waterford & Co Wexford Education Centres. In order to mark her significant contribution to the conference, the management committees of the three Centres are establishing a bursary of €1500.00 in her name to be presented to a teacher from our region who is engaged in research for a post graduate Masters or Doctorate, to assist with the costs of this work. The first bursary will be presented next October. Closing date for applications – Friday, 20th September, 2019. Please see attachements below.
