NEW MATHS EYES WEBSITE
We are very excited to annouce that the new Maths Eyes website is now live at https://haveyougotmathseyes.com. Among the website features are:
Poster Resources: including a brand new selection of over 470 posters, which are searchable by topic and keywords and have associated additional prompt questions.
Guides: guides and videos designed to support implementation of Maths eyes initiatives including a link to the excellent Developing Maths Eyes in the classroom resource developed for the NCCA.
Case Studies: highlighting the creative and innovative ways in which individuals and organisations have put Maths Eyes to work, as well as the impact that this approach has had on their communities and stakeholders.
Competitions: featuring the Maths Eyes annual Poster and Group Initiative competitions in partnership with Maths Week Ireland! This is a chance for individuals and groups of all ages to showcase creative posters and initiatives that demonstrate that they have Maths Eyes. The closing date for entries this year is 30th November 2023.
Digital Badges: this brand new innovation enables the Maths Eyes team to offer all those who support the Maths Eyes project an opportunity to gain four digital badges that provide recognition of your commitment to developing Maths Eyes.
The redesigned website is intended to be intuitive to navigate and to make the resources more quickly accessible. We hope you find the new website helps in the excellent work that we know is being done all across Ireland and beyond to open peoples Maths Eyes!
