Catholic Education: What's the point?
In a time where our culture is vastly changing and where anxiety and other mental health problems are on the rise, this course presents how the Catholic faith has a powerful message of hope, dignity and truth for the contemporary person. This course will present the key messages to teach children about the Catholic faith in order to bring it to life. It will also highlight the role Catholic Education plays in our lives and in our culture.
Since this course focuses on the main message of the Catholic faith, as well as how to effectively communicate this, it is suitable for school leaders as well as primary and post-primary school teachers of all backgrounds. Particular focus will be given to the importance of sacraments, prayer, the Bible and catechesis. This course promises to give you a new or refreshed look at how Catholic Education has the ability to positively transform our lives, our schools and our world.
