The seminar will demonstrate a step by step approach to preparing for an interview and securing a role as a Special Needs Assistant. The seminar will share interview questions, explore appropriate responses, explain expectations of the interview panel and give tips as to how your application can be different to the 100’s of others.

Kenneth Kerins

Kenneth Kerins is the founder of Education Interview Hub. He is principal of St. Brigid's National School, Redhills, Co. Cavan. This is a mainstream primary school with special classes for children with Autism. Kenneth received his Bachelor of Education from St. Patrick's College (DCU). He also holds a Masters in Teaching & Learning, a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership, a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs and studied on an advanced Diploma in Law & Education.

Kenneth has previously worked with the Department of Education as a mentor, facilitator and an associate for the National Induction Programme for Teachers. In this role he advised and supported schools with induction of newly qualified teachers. He has worked as a research supervisor to 3rd level Masters students in the areas of teaching and learning since 2012.
