Compared to other genres poetry is often overlooked and neglected. This is unfortunate as poetry can motivate and engage all children, including struggling readers due to its rhythmic and creative qualities and its accessible nature. This webinar will explore how poetry can be used to teach a range of literacy skills including comprehension, vocabulary and fluency in an enjoyable manner. If you’ve ever wondered ‘what can I do with a poem’, then this webinar is for you!
