This practical course will have daily classes in singing, Kodály methodology (of which the music curriculum is based), solfege and music materials. In this course, we will learn how to effectively keep a beat, teach rhythm, pitch, singing, solfege and all other aspects of music—covering all strands of the music curriculum.
It is a practical course, so participants will learn various songs and games to perform and play with your classes to help them discover and experience music at the highest standard. At the end of the course, participants will have a library of songs, games and activities to bring back to their classroom and school.
Everyone is welcome to this course no matter what music level you may have. We will start from the beginning and scaffold our way from junior infants to sixth class.
