This webinar will outline ways to foster social and emotional awareness, enhance psychological well-being, and promote academic success. It will look at how we can encourage children to be capable, creative learners and encourage self-awareness and self-esteem. There will be discussion on self-esteem building strategies, positive actions for a healthy body, reward systems and intrinsic motivation, in order to promote positive peer relationships and emotional support for your class.
This webinar will also outline ways in which we can respond to the behaviour, rather than react. It will discuss how to build consistent boundaries and give a feeling of safety and trust, so the children can thrive in the classroom environment. There will be discussion on Gary Landreth’s A.C.T Model to help to deal with big feelings and Dr. Dan Siegel’s “Name it to Tame it”. It will give ideas for supporting regulation, so you can establish a safe learning environment that will help all of the children flourish.
